Career Connect – Meet Malmö’s Future Talent!
When? 8 December 2026
Time? 14:00–16:00 (informal networking until 17:00)
Where? Media Evolution City, Stora Varvsgatan 6A, 211 19 Malmö
Connect with the people and opportunities shaping Malmö’s future labour market.
What does Malmö’s future labour market look like? What skills are local organisations looking for? And how can students, recent graduates and employers find new ways to connect?
Join us for Career Connect – an afternoon bringing together students, recent graduates, companies and organisations from across Malmö.
Whether you are studying in Swedish or English, are an international or local student, or have recently graduated, this is an opportunity to explore the regional labour market, meet potential employers, exchange perspectives and expand your professional network.
For companies and organisations, Career Connect is a chance to discover new talent, gain fresh perspectives and build relationships with people who may become future colleagues, collaborators or employees.
You don't need to be looking for a job, and companies don't need to be recruiting. The goal is to create meaningful connections, increase understanding and open doors to future opportunities.
👉🏽 What can you expect?
1. Discover Malmö’s labour market
Hear from Malmö City and Region Skåne about the regional labour market, current skills needs, international talent and initiatives to create a more inclusive and connected workforce.
2. Meet local companies and organisations
Get to know organisations from different industries and learn what they do, what skills and professional backgrounds they value, and what opportunities may exist within their fields.
3. Connect and exchange perspectives
Take part in an interactive session where students, graduates and organisations meet, share experiences and explore how different skills, backgrounds and perspectives can create new opportunities.
4. Expand your professional network
Meet new people, ask questions, share your experiences and continue conversations over coffee. A first conversation today could become a valuable connection tomorrow.
