Diabetes – One of Medeon’s Core Focus Areas

Diabetes is one of Medeon’s four strategic focus areas, alongside MedTech, Oral Health, and Healthy Aging.
What connects them all is prevention – supporting innovation that helps people stay healthier, longer.

Across the Medeon and Malmö community, companies are working on digital health solutions, diagnostic technologies, and sensor systems that make early detection and personalized care possible.
Our partnership in World Diabetes Day Skåne reflects Medeon’s broader mission: to bridge research, innovation, and public health in ways that make a tangible difference.

Healthy Work Day – Turning Prevention into Daily Practice

At Medeon, we believe that health begins where we spend most of our waking hours – at work.
Our Healthy Work Day concept helps companies in the park integrate movement and recovery into the workday.

Every week, Medeon tenants and partners are welcome to join:

High Intensity Interval Training – Mondays 16:00–16:30 (Medeon Gym)
Yoga – Tuesdays 12:10–12:25 (Building K)
Jogging – Wednesdays 11:45 (meeting at reception)

It is not about performance – it is about balance.
Small, consistent actions can improve well-being, reduce stress, and strengthen team culture – the same preventive principles that drive better long-term health outcomes for people with diabetes.

Bridging Oral and Systemic Health – Dent2Health Breaks Records

On October 8, Medeon hosted the Dent2Health Conference 2025 in Malmö – and this year’s edition set a new attendance record.
The theme, “Bridging Oral and Systemic Health”, showcased how integrating oral and general health can have a major impact on both prevention and health economics.

Just a few weeks later, at the Medicon Valley Alliance Summit (November 10), Medeon’s CEO Malin Bornschein presented the Dent2Health initiative and how connecting oral and systemic health creates new opportunities for early detection and cross-disciplinary innovation.
