Finn Medicinen develops products and services that utilize today's available technology to simplify drug use.
Only 50% of medication for long-term medication is taken as prescribed by the doctor. It costs unnecessary suffering and health care enormous amounts each year. Today, the tools needed to support, register and evaluate drug intake are lacking at home.
Finn Founder of Medicine has a background from the pharmacy industry and from the software and hardware industry. At pharmacies and hospitals, you know how important it is for the right medicine in the right dose for the right person at the right time and therefore there are extensive procedures, structures and tools to get it right. And it works! The errors are few and follow-up and improvement of possible mistakes is made. There are technical support, system support and control features.
How does it work when you take your medicine at home? What technology support, system support and control features do you have for your help? With 20 years of experience in drug and patient safety, it's time to relocate the resources they really need, to those who are better off medication! Patient safety work must not stop at the pharmacy's front door. It must reach all the way.
